Save the date! I hope you can join me at 5:00 PM PDT on Wednesday July 26 for a virtual book event, to celebrate the recent international release of my memoir, Hand on My Heart: A Canadian Doctor’s Awakening in Afghanistan.  I will share photographs, stories, and recollections, and of course I will read passages from my memoir and answer questions. But my real hope is to spark discussion with you around ways of bridging cultural differences.
