I hope you can join me at 7:30 PM EST on Thursday Nov 2 for an in person book event in Lachine at the Lakeshore Unitarian Universalist Congregation Hall.  I will share photographs, stories, and recollections, and of course I will read passages from my memoir, Hand on My Heart: A Canadian Doctor’s Awakening in Afghanistan. I am excited to be back in the West Island and hope to spark a dialogue with you about the many ways we can bridge cultural differences, celebrate all sorts of diversity and move toward more equity and inclusion.
