Save the date! I hope you can join me at 5:30 PM EST on Wednesday Nov 1 for an in person book event in Montreal at the McGill School of Population and Global Health.  I will share photographs, stories, and recollections, and of course I will read passages from my memoir, Hand on My Heart: A Canadian Doctor’s Awakening in Afghanistan. I am excited to speak at my Alma mater and hope to spark a dialogue with you about the many ways we can bridge cultural differences, celebrate all sorts of diversity and move toward more equity and inclusion.
